Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! May we on this day give thanks with joy and with celebration for the risen Lord and that out of death and darkness God can bring new life and light to all.  May we give thanks for the times of resurrection in our own lives, and that God can make all things new.

I thank God for the times that He has brought me through the darkness into light, that through his suffering and death on the cross we know that Jesus knows our sufferings and our trials, and pray that we may feel comfort from this and know that God is with us through it all.

I give thanks that through the cross we are assured of forgiveness; that we  know that we are loved unconditionally.  Help us to forgive others and love unconditionally as God loves us.

I give thanks for the fellowship that God gives to us through His love and the love of others, through times of trial and suffering, and through times of joy and celebration.

I thank God for the gift of His son Jesus, for his life, his death and resurrection and for the hope that this gives us now and forever.
